WORMSER BROS. SAN FRANCISCO with partial label
Double roll collar,1867-72 some partial label showing the remaining words for Golden Sheaf Whiskey. As Thomas points out the label shows a woman standing in a wheat field holding a sheaf of wheat. It also read Wormser Bros. Cor. Front & California Sts. S.F." On this label you can read the address and part of the name. Unusual as this was found in a pit. This example has a pot stone on the shoulder and is a medium to deeper amber. It's never been cleaned and in fact still has dirt in it. Nice large top and partial label make it an interesting bottle to have. We've seen an example with a perfect label and they are beautiful. No Grade.
